Paula Brown, age 62, of Hayden, Alabama, went home to be with Jesus, July 8, 2022. She worked many years in store management in the area, and was very good at her job, making many acquaintances and friendships along the way. Paula loved wind chimes...all kinds of wind chimes, and she enjoyed having a good cup of morning coffee, especially having that relaxing morning time with a friend or family member. Paula was a loving and caring person, caring for others more than for herself. She loved the Lord, and was a woman of prayer and faith. Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Wanda Ware. She is survived by her children, David (Jane) Smith, Billy Smith (Nancy), Danny (Felicia) Smith, Jennifer Smith; grandchildren, Caleb Smith, Hannah Smith, Aubery Tidwell, Steven Nelson, Felicia Bliss, Saybre Smith, Maison Smith, Canaan Smith, Elias Smith, Aslyn Smith, Ivy Smith, Emery Smith, Abby Hardin, Chloe Hardin, Kayla Hardin, Danielle Smith; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Michael (Sissy) Rooker, Benny Rooker, Ralph (Karen) Rooker, Hoyett Rooker; sister, Theresa (Donnie) Johnson. A visitation will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home in the chapel Wednesday, July 13, 2022, from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. A funeral service will begin in the chapel immediately following visitation. Interment will be at Ware-Shipp Cemetery in Corner, Alabama.
