Paulette Doss Acton, age 71, of Guntersville, Alabama passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024.

Paulette was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Franklin and Wilma Edna Doss; siblings, Carolyn, Randy and Jerry; granddaughter, Alexis and great-granddaughter, Kirstyn Tylar. She is survived by her sons, Bo (Anna), Jeff (Paula), and Richard (Angie) Acton; daughter, Brandy Nickens; grandchildren: Shelby (Johnathan), Jade (Blake), Christina (Rhilee), Antonie (Shelbe), Trevor, Austin, Destiny, Tammy, Andrew, Adyson and Alyssa; great-grandchildren: Lakelyn, Aubrie, Alivia, Easton, Madden, Symon, Mason, Legend, Landon, Jessilyn, Aydianna, Julianna, Bryson, Kason and Eli; siblings, Nita, Brenda, Marion and Charles; as well as a host of nieces and nephews, all of whom love Paulette dearly, and will miss her greatly.

A visitation for Ms. Acton will be held in the chapel of Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Thursday, August 1, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. For those who wish to attend the committal service, we will reconvene graveside in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Cemetery, following the funeral service.
