Peggy Frances Kilgore, age 78, of Trafford, Alabama, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021. Peggy was a proud member of her beloved church, Kimberly United Methodist. She worked in the lunch room at Warrior Middle School, and was also a wonderful baker. She loved fishing, it didn't matter what she was catching. Her greatest loves were the Lord, her grandchildren, and family. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Mitchell Kilgore; parents, Hosie and Elizabeth Jolly; sister, Linda Hallmark; and brother, Charles Tookie Jolly. She is survived by her daughter, Gayla Tolbert; son, Jonathan Kilgore (Carmen); brother-in-law, Ronald Hallmark; brothers, Ricky Jolly (Cathy) and Terry Jolly (Pat); grandchildren, Austin Danielle Kilgore and Daniel Kilgore; as well as beloved brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. A visitation for Peggy will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Thursday, July 22, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Kimberly United Methodist Church the following day, July 23, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Bro. Larry Sloan to officiate. Interment to follow at Warrior Cemetery.
