Phyllis White, 76, passed away on Monday, July 22. 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

Phyllis was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  Her home was always open to her family, and she always had a house full.  She worked at the White House for 20-plus years where she loved to cook.  She made some of the best cobblers around.  She also loved flowers and enjoyed tending to her gardens.  Phyllis' fun loving personality infected anyone she came across; and she will be truly missed.

She is preceded in death by her son, Dewayne White; husband, Arthur White and parents, Clarence and Minnie Barnett.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Rita (Greg) Goodwin, Donna (Jerry) Savage, Thomas (Sherri) White and Sharon (Michael) Foster; grandchildren, Dewayne (Nicole) Jenkins, Nathan (Kristina) Jenkins, Brian (Ashley) Barnes, Krissi (Justin) Williams, James White, Kaitlin (Ben) Ogletree, Emily (Ryan) Clarke, Evan (Katie) Foster and Morgan Foster; great grandchildren, Allie and Amelia Jenkins, Brooklyn and Johnathan Jenkins, Cheyenne and Savannah Williams, Carmen, Mackenzie and Brodie Barnes, Matthew Clarke, Bryson, Sawyer and Cooper Lane and RayAnn Foster, Jaxon and Barrett Ogletree and Avery and Ryleigh Foster; brothers, Ray (Linda) Barnett and Ralph (Martha) Barnett and a very special Aunt Jeanette Bolen.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Love's Crossing Church of God from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with a service to follow at 2:00pm.  Burial will be held at Elvester Cemetery with Brother Brian Barnes to officiate.
