Quo Queze Ferguson, 81, passed on Monday, September 19, 2022.

Queze was born on February 4, 1941 to Clyde and Mae Cottrell.  She enjoyed watching sports, including her beloved Auburn Tigers!  She also enjoyed watching NASCAR and baseball.  Queze spent a lot of her years at the ball fields in Fultondale, either participating herself on a league or watching her kids play.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.  She worked with Carraway Hospital for most of her working life.  Queze worked in different departments of the hospital including security and ordering the medical supplies.  Carraway Hospital was her biggest passion; she loved her co-workers as well as her work environment.

She is preced in death by her parents, Clyde and Mae Cottrell; infant twin daughters, Bobbi Faye and Laura Mae Ferguson; brothers, C.W. Cottrell, Bunny Cottrell, and Herschel Cottrell; sisters, Mary Thompson, Betty Walden, Nina Mason and Sue Kilpatrick.

Queze is survived by her daughter, Kathy Hughes (Randy); son, Bobby Ferguson (Diana); brother, Sherman Cottrell, Grandsons, Ricky Headley, Scott Hughes, Benn Hughes, Trenton Ferguson, Jarett Ferguson; granddaughter, Tori Ferguson; great grandsons, Brayden Headley and Wesley Ferguson; great granddaughters, Jordan Headley and Nora Hughes.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 11:00am at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Warrior.
