Raymond Eugene Payton, 80,  of Warrior, AL, passed from this life into eternal life on Thursday, September 30, 2021 .He passed peacefully at home surrounded by family. Raymond was born January 6th, 1941 in Birmingham, Alabama, the son of James and Irene Payton. Raymond married Sherry Elizabeth Payton in 1964. They shared everlasting love. They welcomed Vicky Evans in 1971, and their twins, Dena and Tina in 1975. Raymond is preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Payton; and his parents, James and Irene Payton. He is survived by his daughters; Vicky, Dena and Tina; grandchildren, Matthew, Peyton, Savannah, Anna, and J.J.; great-grandchildren, Myleigh, Presley, Dani, Dax, Bentley, and Paxton. There will be a visitation in the chapel Sunday, October 3, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Warrior Cemetery.
