Rhonda Bibb
Bradford
Aug 30, 1960 — Feb 13, 2026
Birmingham
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rhonda Bibb Bradford, a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend who left this world peacefully in her home on February 13, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on August 30, 1960, Rhonda was the cherished daughter of the late Carol Jean Garrard (Victor "Vic" Garrard).
A vibrant soul, Rhonda was the embodiment of warmth, love and compassion, whose radiant spirit touched everyone she encountered. Rhonda was the devoted wife of Alan Bradford, whose love and companionship were the cornerstones of her life. She was a proud and loving mother to her daughter, Jennifer Sebetich, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond.
Rhonda is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Alan Bradford; her beloved daughter, Jennifer Sebetich; bonus son and nephew, Steven Farley; sisters, Joan Pylant (Lee), Sherry Farley (Mike), and Jeannen Frachiseur; and brothers, Danny Bibb and John R. Bibb (Kelli). Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family, friends, and the countless children who fondly called her "RaRa" or "Aunt Rhonda."
Known for her quick wit and warm smile, Rhonda had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. Her kindness and generosity were the hallmarks of her character. She was the queen of every kitchen she entered, crafting delicious meals that nourished both body and soul. Her talents extended beyond the culinary arts, as she was skilled in sewing, crochet, and an array of other creative endeavors.
Rhonda loved planting her flowers. Her passion for flowers was only matched by her love for her faithful dog, Maggie, and her cat, Bitty, who brought her endless joy and companionship.
Summers at Lake Logan Martin were filled friends, family, swimming, fishing, fires and tea tree oil - a testament to Rhonda's love for life. It was there that she wove a tapestry of cherished memories, where children and adults alike found a sweet summer escape year after year.
A celebration of Rhonda's life will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Thursday, February 19. The family will receive guests in the chapel from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service commencement at noon. Immediately following the celebration of life, everyone will travel of their own accord to Cane Creek Cemetery, where we will all reconvene graveside for a brief committal service prior to interment. We invite all who knew and loved Rhonda to join us in remembering and honoring a woman whose light will forever shine in our hearts.
