Ricky "Bubba" Davis, age 42, of Trafford, Alabama, was called to rest Saturday, December 11, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Davis; sister, Angela Davis; niece, Angel Moore. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Barbara and David Wood; children, Zackery and Concetta Davis, Christian, Christopher, Kristia, and Jacob; sisters, Wendy Stephens, Melissa Davis; brothers, Jeffery Farris; Randall Davis; grandmother, Dorris Brown; nephews, Terry and Austin Clark; nieces, Breanna, Hailey, Chelsea, and Hannah McCoy. Ricky was a caring, loving, independent, and out-going person. He loved to share his knowledge of the Bible with people. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his kids. Christmas was his favorite holiday. Ricky was so proud of himself when he accomplished his first construction job as a roofer. He was double-promoted in high school, but was even prouder when he got his GED with the highest attainable score of 800. Ricky's hobbies were drawing art, reading, and writing poetry. Our family loved everything about him. He had an uplifting spirit, kind understanding, and always offered a helping hand. He always put his family first. Ricky was always a respectful person and a joy to be around for everyone. Visitation for Ricky "Bubba" Davis will be held in the chapel Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 1:00-2:00 p.m., with funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Cold Springs Cemetery.
