Robert Leon Brooks, Jr. "Bubba" of Trafford, Ala. passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2026, at the age of 62.

Bubba loved getting together with friends, barbequing and playing horseshoes. He was loved by many and will be missed by many! He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who was in need of anything, whether it be shelter and a hot meal or material for whatever it may be. Bubba loved spending time floating the river with his wife and family. He was a very caring, loving man. Everyone that ever met and spent any time at all with him loved him instantly and enjoyed hearing him tell his jokes and stories of old times. Yes, indeed, he will be greatly missed!

Bubba was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. and Betty Jane Brooks; and sister, Tina Brooks. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sonya Brooks; sons, Shane Crawford (Terri) and Cory Crawford (Kayla); 5 grandchildren, 2 great-granddaughters; sister, Debbie Payne (Fozey); as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

There will be memorial service for Mr. Brooks on March 5, 2026 at Trafford Baptist Church, 12:00 PM.
