Bobby Hayes of Warrior, Ala. passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025, at the age of 65. Bobby was a beloved father, brother, uncle and friend. He retired from Boilermaker Local 108. Among his many hobbies were fishing, building bird houses, watching Alabama football, cooking for his dog, and enjoying Mexican food. Most of all, though, Bobby cherished spending time with his son, Nick. Bobby and Nick were best friends who have made memories that will never fade.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Robert B. Hayes, Sr. and Frances C. Hayes; and his brother-in-law, Joseph G. Ballard.

He is survived by his loving son, Nicholas Josh Hayes; sister, Vickie L. (Wally) Ferguson; niece, MaireJo (Matt) Padgett and their children Addison, Joseph and Opal Padgett; constant companion , Tucker; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

Services are scheduled for Friday, July 18, 2025, at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM- 6:00 PM, with the funeral ceremony to commence at 6:00 PM. Per Bobby's wishes, he will be cremated afterward.
