Robert L. Haynes, 64, of Tarrant, Alabama, passed to eternal life August 24, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Elmer and Betty Jo Patterson Haynes; siblings, Nina Briggs, Carl Haynes, and Betty Jean Murphy. He is survived by his siblings, Jerry (Kathy) Haynes, Faye (Wayne) Payne, Ann (Marvin) Hambley; a host of nieces and nephews. Robert will be remembered as having a good heart and a very kind spirit. He loved everyone and was always laughing. He could be playfully "ornery," and he never lost an argument. He loved Crimson Tide football, his family, and the Lord. His family described him as an over-comer. He had a powerful Christian testimony, being delivered from alcohol and drug addiction. Robert will be sorely missed by his friends and family. A visitation for Robert Haynes will be held in the chapel Friday, August 27, 2021, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m., Messmer Goodwin entrusted with services. Interment will be a Castle Heights Cemetery.
