Robert McGill, age 73 passed away at his residence July 12th 2025 surrounded by family.

Robert Loved his wife and children, he held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren Brittany and William. He loved God and was a devoted Christian, He served as a Birmingham Firefighter and retired after 20 years of service. He also was a retired School bus driver for 20 years. He instilled value into his children, he was a avid story teller who could make you laugh and cry at the same time. in his spare time he loved to fish and hunt and bee keeping. Robert was a Shriner and Mason at Dolcito #596. He will be missed dearly.

Mr. McGill is preceded in Death by his Father Bobby Eugene McGill.

Survivors include his Wife Bonnie, Children Kelly and Todd (Brianna) Grandchildren Brittany and William. Mother Martha, his Brothers Mark and Greg.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 16th at 3pm. with visitation starting at 2pm in the Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held at Nixon Chapel Cemetery in Snead Al.

Pallbearers are: William, Deion, Matt, Jon, Todd, Brett and Kyle.
