Robert Melvin Burgett, beloved husband, father, grandpa, and brother, age 75, of Warrior, Alabama passed away March 15, 2022. He was preceded in death by mother and father Euel and Mildred Burgett; daughter, Kandi Michelle Burgett; brothers, Jerry and Gene Burgett. He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Patsy Burgett; daughters, Lisa (David) Stites, Tracy (William) Richardson; son, Robert (Candy) Burgett, Jr. He was the greatest grandpa to Aaron, Ashleigh, Amelia, and Hudson. He loved his family, his garden, painting, bird-watching. Robert loved music, and his little Shih-tzu, Fussy. He was proud to have been in the 101st Airborne Division, where he served his country as a sargeant and for two tours.
