Rodney Van Brock of Hayden, Ala. passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at the age of 66. Rodney was a great dad who loved Alabama football, guns, old cats, fishing, and westerns. Before he got sick, Rodney loved taking vacations with his wife and daughter. He is greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Rodney was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Brock; and grandparents, Earl and Annie Price Scott. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Brock; daughter, Lindsey Brock; father, Donald Brock; sister, Sonjia Brock Turley; brother-in-law, Darryl Turley; as well as several nieces, a nephew, and many extended family members and dear friends.

A visitation for Rodney will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Friday, June 27, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Immediately following the visitation, we will reconvene graveside in Sulphur Springs Cemetery for a brief committal service just before interment.
