Rodney Lloyd Skinner, 54, passed from this earth to his Heavenly home on Friday, July 12, 2019 after many years of illness.

Rodney was born and raised in warrior, AL.  He graduated from Warrior High School where he made many life-long friends.

His life revolved around his family.  He loved his Jesus, church, wife, kids, momma, grandchildren and family intensely.

Rodney was preceded in death by his daddy, James O. Skinner; his brother Randall Skinner, Uncle Rickey Skinner and step-daughter Kristen Skye Reynolds.

He is survived by the love of his life- wife, Yonna Bowman Skinner, mother, Olean Skinner, In-laws, Donna and Tim Bowman; six beautiful children; sons, Rodney Daniel Skinner, Jaden Tyler Skinner, and David Coley Quinn; daughters, Amber Olean Skinner Lotero (Jorge Lotero) and Terra Ann Skinner; Beloved grandchildren, Makaylee, Lindsey, Jacob, Preston, Ava and Aubree; beautiful nieces, Katie Skinner and Grace Ann Skinner; and a host of family and friends galore! He will be missed by everyone beyond words.

Visitation will be 12:30-2:00pm at Waterstone Church in Warror on July 17, 2019 with a funeral service at 2:00pm.  Pastor Jerrell Brown will be officiating and burial will be at Elvester Cemetery.  Arrangements in care of Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home.
