Mr. Roger Dale Barbee, Sr., a loving and devoted husband, daddy, papa, and brother, born July 27, 1949, went home to be with God December 12, 2023. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Martis Barbee; brothers, Timmy Barbee, Keith Barbee, David Barbee; sister, Sheila Barbee. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Joan Barbee; son, Dale Barbee (Mindy); daughters, Rachel Barbee, and Jill (Alan) Pair; grandchildren, Jordan Bell, Cadence Pair, Ian Pair, Jacob Patterson, Autumn Patterson; brothers, Billy Barbee and Doug (Sandra) Barbee; sister, Rebecca (Sonny) Dove; bonus children, Shelley (Daniel) Light, Randall Hall; a host of very loved nieces and nephews; his special friend, Tom (Sissy) Miller.

A 1:00 p.m. funeral service will be at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home Friday, December 15, 2023. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel. Interment will be at Laodicea Cemetery in Hanceville, Alabama.
