A visitation and viewing will take place at Calvary Baptist Church (800 Arkadelphia Rd. Warrior, AL 35180) on Saturday, January 25. The family will receive guests in the sanctuary from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The funeral service will then begin at noon, with Bro. Denny Armstrong and Bro. Earl Goode officiating. At the conclusion of our funeral service at the church, we will all reconvene graveside for a brief committal service in Graves Gap Cemetery, Hayden.
A note for those planning to attend the committal service and interment at Graves Gap Cemetery: At the conclusion of the committal service, before the casket is lowered into the ground, the funeral director will dismiss everyone from the graveside, so that the grave can be prepared and covered safely and without incident. At this time you are welcome to leave the cemetery, but are not required to do so. For those wishing to stay while the casket is lowered and the vault lid set in place,we ask that you please step out from underneath the tent and maintain a safe distance from the grave while the vault company and gravedigger work. Any vehicles parked in close proximity to the grave will be asked to move, so that the necessary equipment can be brought in and used safely. Thank you for your cooperation and assistance in safely caring for Mr. Ronald Hogeland's final resting place.
