Ronald "Ronnie" Wade Rouse, age 64, of Mt. Olive, saw Jesus face to face on Friday, Jan. 17, 2020. Ronnie was a devoted man of faith who enjoyed playing with his grandson, Eli, southern gospel music, singing redback hymnals, visiting with his best friend Jerome Bradford, and above all else, spending time with his family. Ronnie never met a stranger and delighted in fellowshipping with others. He was preceded in death by his father Bill Rouse, mother Ola Mae Rouse, and brother William "Pat" Rouse. He is survived by his beloved sweetheart of forty-two years Donna Kay Rouse; daughter Hannah Taylor, son-in-law Mitchell Taylor, grandson Elijah "Eli" Wade Taylor; son Joseph "Andy" Rouse, daughter-in-law Laura Beth Rouse; multitude of sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews. There will be a visitation on Thursday, January 23, 2020, at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, with funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM.
