Ronnie Carlton Downs, age 73, of Fultondale, Alabama, passed to his eternal rest August 29, 2021. A private service is scheduled for the immediate family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Lee Downs; grandmother, Mabel Blizzard; sisters, Wanda Downs, Patsy Davis. he is survived by his wife, Virginia P. Downs; children, Carla McGann, Angela Downs, Crystal (Jimmy) Tidmore, Ronnie (Tiffanie) Downs, Julie (Colt) McCormick, Sandy (Josh) Argo, Nicholas Downs; grandchildren, Tiffany Bell, Dustin Oates, Brent Roberson, Gina Roberson, Alice Downs, Lily Downs; great-grandchildren, Charlee Rutledge, Adalynn Oates. Ronnie Carlton Downs was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved God and his family more than anything in this world. Not a day went be he didn't talk about his love for God and his family. His greatest accomplisments were his family: his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by his loved ones.
