Ruby Scott of Warrior, Al passed away on June 4, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Scott; daughter, Marie Kilgore; and great-grandson, Garrett Kilgore. She is survived by her children, Diane Scott, Edna Sloan, Greg Scott, Chase Higginbotham, sister, Carolyn Goodwin, 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends. Ruby was a member of Coaldale Church of God. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and will be missed by her family. Visitation for Ms. Scott will be Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 . p.m. Graveside service will be held Wednesday June 7, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Elvester Cemetery.
