Sadie Lee Tidwell, age 86, of Pinson, AL, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023. Sadie was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Lucille Donaldson; husband, Gene Tidwell; and her daughter, Tammy Tidwell. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Hooper; granddaughters, Gina Hooper and Mandy Taylor; as well as great-grandchildren, Jason Evans, Kaleb Stephens, Sara Stephens, and Sammy Taylor. A visitation for Sadie will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Thursday, February 2, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held the following day at Hopewell Baptist Cemetery beginning at 11:00 a.m. Bro. Kyle Hooper to officiate.
