Samuel "Sammy" Charles Brasher, age 58, of Morris, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 17, 2020. He was a loving son, father, brother and friend. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kristy Mitchell; father, Clyde Wilbourn; grandmother, Sarah Ogletree; and nephew, Jason Cannon. He is survived by his loving mother, Sue Wilbourn; son, Kevin Brasher (Daphne); brother, Jeff Wilbourn (Sharon); sisters, Tammy Perkins (Benny), and Tina Vankleeck (Mark); nephews, Roman Vankleeck, Alex Wilbourn, Scott Wilbourn (Kayla), and Ryan Wilbourn (Breanna); niece, Heather Gooch (Chris); and grandchildren Titan, Brittany, Jalyn, and Alexis. A visitation for Sammy will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Friday, February 21, from 10:00am-11:00am, with funeral service beginning at 11:00am. Burial to follow at Liberty Minter Cemetery-1954 Self Creek Rd. Morris, AL 35116. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
