Mrs. Sandra "Sandy" Faye Rouse, age 65, of Warrior, Alabama, was called to her heavenly home Sunday, December 19, 2021. Sandy was a loving and kind wife, mother, sister, grandmother and best friend. She took the most pride in her children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter. Sandy enjoyed taking care of the plants, a clean house, Dr. Pepper, and an Alabama football game. No matter who you were, or how long you knew her, she felt like home and greeted you with a loving smile, open arms, and a warm heart. She was well-liked by everyone who was blessed to know her. Her family loved and adored her and will miss her very much. Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Ezra Louis Jones; brother, David Louis Jones; husband, Carl Rouse; and niece, Tammy Fernandes. She is survived by her husband, Nick Hancock; mother, Marjorie Hallman; daughters, Christy McBrayer and Jennifer Thren; step-children, Brad Hancock and Nicole Glasscock; grandchildren: Brittany Thren, Amber and Emily McBrayer, Kelsey, Greyson, Madison, and Carter Glasscock; great-grandchild, Adalyn Gurganus; and sisters, Edith (Glenn) Rouse and Brenda (Mark) Renfroe. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Stewart's Chapel Methodist Church Thursday, December 23, 2021, with a funeral service following at 12:00 p.m. Brother Arnold Kilgore will be officiating.
