Mrs. Sarah Diane Baker, age 62, of Trafford, Alabama, was passed peacefully to rest at Grandview Medical Center Friday, December 2, 2022.

Sarah was very family-oriented and loved spending time with her family and friends. She adored her grandchildren, and was especially proud of them and her three children. She loved camping and traveling, and was a wonderful cook.

Sarah was a generous and welcoming person. Being so loving and giving, she would never turn anyone away for anything. She will always be remembered for her kind and charitable nature.

Preceding Sarah in death were her parents, Billy Joe and Gaynell Baker; sister, Margaret Pike. She is survived by her husband, Earl Baker; son, Adam Baker (Chelsea); daughters, Melissa Ellison (Rickey), Ginger White; grandchildren, Logan Baker, Hunter and River Ellison, Aislin, Aiden, and Arya White; sister, Sandra Butcher (Pete); a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 p.m Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will follow thereafter at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel. There will be a private interment Thursday.
