Sharon Elizabeth Thomas, age 77, of Oneonta, Alabama, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025.

Sharon was a huge Elvis Presley fan with a special sense of humor, who loved to laugh. She also loved to fish, almost as much as she loved reading her Bible and going to church. She was a loving wife to her husband, Floyd, and a loving mother and grandmother, who absolutely adored her children and grandchildren. Her most honorable achievement in this life, she would tell you, was giving birth to her children. Her dog, Lucky, also had a special place in her heart, as a beloved companion and member of the family. Most of all, Sharon loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, William and Bobbie Rae Luster Jinright; her husband, Floyd Thomas; and her sister, Dana Hamilton. She is survived by her children, David Foust (Deb), Bonita McCoy (Rodney), Rhette Foust (Kelly), Scott Thomas, and Lori Hall (Dwayne); and her siblings, Billy Luster (Sheena) and Lisa Looney (Greg).

A memorial service for Sharon will be held at New Harmony Baptist Church on Saturday, February 1, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
