Sheila Denise Harris, of Trafford, Alabama, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father, John Hillard; and brother, Michael Harris. She is survived by her mother, Tommie Hillard; husband, Armele Scruggs; sons, Nichrien Smith Sr., Lamont Dosie Jr., Marquis Dobbs, and Demico Fields; sisters, Latoya Hillard and Shera Hillard; brothers, John Hillard, Tony Hillard, Darnell Harris, and Marvin Hillard; grandson, Nichrien Smith Jr.; granddaughter, Aaleigh Smith; and sister/lifelong friend, Sara Williamson. A visitation for Mrs. Harris will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Monday, May 11, from 1:00-2:00pm, with funeral service beginning at 2:00pm.
