Sheila Faye McCombs, age 71, of Hayden, Alabama passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025. Sheila was a member of CrossRoads Baptist Church. She lived  life stitched together with love, kindness and care - much like the beautiful quilts she made. Of all her joys in life, her greatest pride was her family. She found her deepest happiness on being a "Nae Nae" to her cherished grandchildren - the apple of her eye, and she loved her Lord & Savior Jesus.

Sheila was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, David McCombs; her parents, G.C. & Nora Bromley; and her sister, Rebecca Guthrie (Gerald). She is survived by her children, Kevin McCombs (Allyson) and Stephanie Pate (Tim); son-in-love, Chris Robinette (Lisa); brother-in-law, Collis McCombs (Karen); grandchildren, Anna (Joey), Shelby, Davey, Joshua, James David, and grandson-in-love, Colin; great-grandchild, Oakley Faye; as well as several beloved nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at CrossRoads Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 29, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at noon. Interment to follow at Sulphur Springs Cemetery.
