Shirley Hays, age 77, of Trafford, Alabama, passed away on October 5, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Hays; brother, Alfred Huffstutler Jr.; sisters, Virginia Chavers, Odell Cooper, Edna Doss, Mildred Jones, and Maglene Hallmark. She is survived by her son, John Keith Hays; daughter, Janet Renea Hodo (Robbie Dale Hodo); and brother, Ralph Huffstutler.

A visitation for Shirley will be held at Messmer-Goodwin Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 8, from 1:00pm- 2:00pm, with funeral service beginning at 2:00. Burial will follow at Trafford Cemetery.
