Ellard Ray "Shorty" Tumblin of Hayden Al passed away on Thursday March 12, 2020. Shorty was a lifelong member of Elvester Baptist Church and the Hayden Community. He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Jenn Carr Tumblin; and father, Hubert Edward Tumblin. He is survived by his brothers, Gene and Alfred Tumblin; sister, Gereldean Phelps; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends. A visitation for Shorty will be held at Elvester Baptist Church in Warrior, AL, on Sunday, March 15, from 11:00am- 12:00pm, with funeral service to begin at 12:00pm. Burial to follow at Elvester Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jimmy Phelps, Randy Phelps, Michael Tumlin, Tim Tumblin, David Tumblin, Mike Lawson, Johnny King, and Tim Sanford.
