Mr. Teddy Wood, age 51, of the West Jefferson community, passed away at St. Vincent's Hospital Monday, December 4, 2023. Teddy was a hard worker who loved his family so much. Teddy is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Laverne Wood; and siblings, Sherry Goodwin, Chris Wood and Carolyn Galispie. He is survived by his wife, Linda Wood; children, Randy Wood, Ashley Fields (Stephen), and Amanda Wood (Charles Johnson); grandchildren, Adeahlyn and Braiydean Wood, Travis and Shawn Fields, Charles, Maya and Baileigh Johnson; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family will have a visitation at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
