Mrs. Tommie Copeland, age 82, from Trussville,  Alabama,  passed to eternal life Wednesday,  March  9, 2022. The family will receive friends and extended family in the chapel Saturday, March 12, 2022, from 2: 00-3:00, with funeral following. Interment will be at Haig Rogers Cemetery in Morris, Alabama. Tommie was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Irby Russell; brother, Dan Russell; sister-in-law, Jeana Russell. She is survived; daughters, Kelly Armstrong (Jimmy) Sommer Bradshaw (Justin); granddaughters, Holly Owen, Monica James (Jake); grandsons, Dax, Kai, Brit , and Ben Bradshaw; brothers, Kyle Russell (Pat), Johnnie Russell;  sister-in-law, Louise Russell, four great-grandsons. Tommie was raised in Warrior, attended school and church in Warrior, and spent her working years at a local, family-owned business.  She knew most everyone in town. As a matter of fact, her daughter said every trip to the grocery store took at least an hour so she could speak to everyone she knew. She was voted "Most Likely to be Late" at Warrior High School, and the family laughed that she lived up to the award, being late to most events and functions. Tommie loved her family, and was extremly devoted to them. She loved spending time with them, and doted on her grandkids, who made her light up when she was with them. She loved to laugh, joke,  and enjoyed being around people. You never had to wonder what she thought about something; she would let you know her thoughts and ideas. Tommie was a kind, big-hearted lady. She will be sorely missed by family and friends.
