Tommy Ray Jones of Warrior, Ala. passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the age of 65.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, James "Jim" Jones and Annie Ruth Quick Jones; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clyde and Maggie Slatton; son, T.J. Lowe; grandson, Tyrone Lowe; and brother, Bobby Monroe Jones. He is survived by his wife, Susie Jones; daughter, Brandy (Lonnie) Hamilton; grandson, Timothy Kyle (Hope) Hamilton; great-grandson, Micah Lowe; siblings, James (Nancy) Jones, Jerry (Nancy) Jones, Joan (Roger) Barbee, Gary (Brenda) Jones, Jackie (Judy) Jones, Louise (Joseph) Horton, Doug Jones, Sandra (Doug) Barbee, Jimmy (Teresa) Jones, Tracy (Dena) Jones, and Christie (Dwayne) Crook; and siblings-in-law, Wayne Slatton, Judy Crawford, and Randy (Patsy) Slatton.

A visitation will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 27, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with the memorial service beginning at noon.
