Tony Ray Nix, Jr., aged 48, of Hayden, Alabama, passed away on June 6, 2024. Tony was a man whose faith in Jesus was unwavering, even amidst life's trials. He found solace and strength in his faith. Tony was a devoted husband of 25 years to his beloved wife, and a loving father to their three children. He spoke of his family with immense pride and admiration, sharing with anyone he met just how wonderful he found them to be. He was an enthusiast of sports, music, and movies, had a remarkable knack for trivia, and could triumph in any game thrown his way. As an avid supporter of the Wildcats, and a lover of all things Hayden, his passion for his hometown and its teams knew no bounds.

Tony is survived by his wife, Lori; their children, Emma, Ryan, and Ruby; his parents, Frances Hood (Marshall), and Tony Nix, Sr. (Kathy); his brother, David (Bobbie Jo), his nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and freinds.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Bill and Eula Nix, and Robert and Ruth Simmons; his aunts, Jane Luker and Ruthy Simmons; and his uncles, Rudy Simmons and Bobby Simmons.

Tony's kindness, faith, and unwavering love for his family and community will forever be remembered by all who were forunate enough to have known him.

The family will host a memorial service to celebrate Tony's life, which will be held on June 12, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Crossroads Baptist Church in Warrior, AL.
