Trennie Baughn passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025 just one day shy of her 86th birthday.  Trennie is survived by her granddaughters, April Andrews (David), Crystal Mortensen, and Jessica Hallman (Chris); great grandchildren, Brianna Flynn (Dylan), Braegan McRae, Blake McRae, Jamin Mortensen, Anika Mortensen, Emma Hallman and Amelia Hallman; daughter-in-law, Cathy Baughn; one sister, Tennie Todd; and a host of nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Tom Baughn; son, Michael Baughn; her parents, Henry and Annie Cole; and five siblings.  Trennie will be remembered for her energetic and sassy personality.  She kept those around her entertained and they never knew what to expect.  She was known for calling others by nicknames such as "intelligent donkey" for her grandson-in-law David, "Chelle" for her granddaughter April Michelle, and "skeet" for her granddaughter, Jessica.  One pastor tells a story of always being referred to as "bishop" by Trennie.  She was a unique person who was loved dearly by her family and will be missed until they see her again.  The family will receive friends on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 11:30 a.m. at Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
