Mar 21, 1967 — Feb 1, 2022
Cleveland
Vickie Jean Hardin, age 54, of Cleveland, Alabama, passed from this life February 1, 2022. Vickie was a talented, spunky, artistic, and kind woman. She was considered the perfect wife by her husband. Her biggest accomplishments in life were her wonderful children and grandchildren, plus all of her "adopted" children. Vickie loved to paint, sing, draw, and write poetry. She enjoyed sitting on her porch watching the hummingbirds while petting her little puppy, Tiny. She enjoyed causing "trouble" wherever she went. Vickie is known and loved for the heart she had for her family, amazing sense of humor, her beautiful singing voice, and her unconditional love. Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, Gary Eugene and Billie Gail Uptain; brother, James Eugene Uptain; sister, Astarsia Gail Hail. She is survived by her husband, James Eugene Hardin; sons, James Matthew Hardin (Robyn), Nicholas Toth; daughters, Melody Gail Smith; Lea Joanne Hardin; ten grandchildren, with one on the way, Zach, Josh, Mikayla, Abby, Chloe, Kayla, Dawson, Jasper, Ariella, Klarity, and one yet unnamed blessing. Visitation will be held in the chapel Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 12:00-1:00 p.m., followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Union Grove Cemetery, Adamsville, Alabama.
