Vonda J. Osmon, age 66, passed away on Saturday afternoon, August 9, 2025. Vonda had three special companions: two dogs, Bo and Stink Butt, and a bird, Ricco. She never had children of her own, but Vonda loved everyone else's children and grandchildren, and enjoyed buying Christmas gifts for the  in her family. She also loved her church family at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member. Vonda had a true servant's heart, and was always helping others. She certainly left this world a little brighter than it was before, and will be so greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Vonda was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Bruce Osmon and Betty Lorane Price. She is survived by her cousins, Katrina Owens and Sonja Turley.

A visitation will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 12, from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Immediately following the visitation, everyone will reconvene inside Sulphur Springs Cemetery for the graveside service, which will begin at 5:00 p.m.
